The Blues have confirmed their play off place and with a place in the final at Wembley up for grabs, tickets for the semi final are sure to be in high demand.

To help to ensure a smooth sales process for the home leg, tickets have gone on sale already for season card holders, shareholders and Team Blues members.

Southend's home leg has been scheduled for 9th May, kick-off 7.45pm, although the opposition is yet to be finalised.

To help supporters plan their purchases, the following priority system will be in place:

Between now and 5pm on Tuesday 6th May - Season Card holders, Shareholders and Team Blues members. (Team Blues memberships are available to buy at £10 until 1pm on Saturday 3rd May)

7th, 8th and 9th May - General Sale.

The Ticket Office will therefore be open for business on Bank Holiday Monday for sales to Season Card holders. Bank Holiday Monday opening times will be 10am till 3pm.

Supporters will be able to book tickets over the telephone on 08444 770077, online at www.southendunited.co.uk or in person at the main Ticket Office.

Due to the very short period in which tickets can be sold it will be difficult to actually send out tickets via the post. Therefore season card holders will have their tickets loaded onto their card. Non season card holders will either receive their tickets in person when they buy at the ticket office or can collect their tickets on the night of the game if bought over the telephone or online. The option of having registered delivery to supporters to guarantee receiving their tickets is being investigated with Royal Mail - more details will follow nearer the time.

Director of Commercial Services Garry Adamson said: "We are very keen to put plans in place to make the whole play off ticket buying experience as easy as possible for supporters. Whilst people will expect some delays due to the high demand levels we will do everything we can to ensure it goes as smoothly as possible. We have decided to open Bank Holiday Monday; we have increased the number of ticket systems available and telephone lines and also allocated an increased number of staff to help out.

Keep in touch with www.southendunited.co.uk for the latest play off news.

Please note - tickets are non refundable and should only be purchased in advance by those supporters who know that no matter who the opponents are they will be attending.
