Season Card sales have topped the 4,800 mark ahead of Saturday's second early bird discount cut off.

United fans have continued to come out in force since the Blues relegation last season from the Coca-Cola Championship.

Current sales are only around a thousand down on the total amount sold when last season kicked off.

And with only a number of days left before Saturday's discounted rated ends, fans are reminded to purchase their seat now to make a saving.

"It doesn't surprise me that so many fans have bought Season Tickets," said keeper Darryl Flahavan.

"They were excellent last season and I am sure they will be this season as well.

"I'm looking forward to reporting back for pre-season next week and getting back down to work.

"We have some wrongs to right this season and whilst it will be difficult everyone is focused on the challenge ahead."

Supporters have until the close of business on Saturday to take advantage of the latest discount.

An adult Season Card is only £400 whilst Junior prices start from £200 with Seniors and Young Persons priced at £250 and £240 respectively.
