Southed United's final reserve game of the season against Grays Athletic has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Blues second string was due to travel to the Recreation Ground this evening for a 7pm kick-off.

However, after torrential downpour in Essex today the fixture has been cancelled.

With the season so late in the day now, the fixture will not be played again, and the scoreline has been deemed a 0-0 draw.

Grays have pulled out of the Combination League for next season.

Technical difficulties meant that this update could not be brought to supporters attention earlier.
