VOTE NOW: Cast your vote for the Blues Player of the Year

VOTING is well underway for the Blues Player of the Year but have you cast your vote yet?

This season will be the first time that supporters will vote by text message for who they feel has been United's best performer during what has been one of the Club's most successful seasons in recent years.

While Freddy Eastwood has grabbed the headlines for all his goals the likes of Adam Barrett, Kevin Maher and Mark Bentley have all been playing brilliantly and are all in with a shout of lifting the Official Southend United Player of the Year award.

Last season Mark Gower was crowned Champion but who will be this year? It's up to you to decide.

And it couldn't be easier to cast your vote all you have to do is text the word STHND followed by a space and then your choices surname. So if I wanted to vote for Adam Barrett I'd text STHND BARRETT then send it to 88442.

Supporters have until Friday 29th April to cast their vote with the Trophy being presented on the Roots Hall pitch. Each vote costs £1 so please ask permission before entering and one lucky fan will be selected at random to win a signed and framed photo of the winner receiving their award.
