2008/09 SEASON CARD APPLICATION FORM
Southend United are asking supporters to take a gamble on being in the Championship in August by buying their Season Card for next season from March.
Supporters who sign-up this season could be enjoying a cut price football next season should the Blues gain promotion, but don't worry we can help you to spread the cost between now and the start of the new campaign.
After a review of the current Season Card package, including consultation with supporters, we are pleased to announce the following headlines for 2008/09:
- Prices frozen for current Season Card holders* and discounts available for new buyers
- This season to reward the loyalty of supporters who held Season Cards last year, any supporter renewing their seat will be able to do this for exactly the same price as last year, providing it is purchased by 26th April 2008*.
- New Season Card buyers can also take advantage of a discount on the full prices if their Season Card is purchased in advance.
- Supporters can now buy their Season Cards from March 2008. This means that instalment plans are now possible for up to 6 payments.
- Significant discounts are available if Season Cards are bought during this time. The full League One and Championship prices have been published so that supporters are aware of the potential discounts available.
Blues Director of Commercial Services Garry Adamson said: "We have had a fresh look at the whole Season Card package.
"We wanted to ensure Season Cards remain affordable and also reward loyalty.
"That is why we have launched early to enable instalments whilst maintaining nearly all of the prices from last year for those renewing their seats."
As an example, a Season Card bought in March for £380 could be staggered in 6 monthly instalments of £63.34 per month for a one off administration charge of only £15.
Supporters who decide to sign up to the Blues Lottery, or have 12 months worth of membership remaining, will also receive a £25 discount on their Season Card. Furthermore all Season Card holders will automatically become members of the Team Blues membership scheme which includes involvement in the TeamCard loyalty scheme. All Junior Season Card holders will also receive free Junior Blues or Mini Blues membership which includes a free goody bag and lots of other benefits.
Unfortunately the Club has had to increase the price of a Family Ticket within the Family Enclosure due to some adult supporters locating in this area without children to take advantage of the cheaper price.
As a result the price within this area has risen to be inline with an adult ticket elsewhere in the stadium, with the Junior Season Card holder going free.
The Football Club fully appreciates that this will penalise those genuine families who use the Family Enclosure and are currently in the process of looking at rewarding those legitimate supporters. More details will be announced shortly.
Application forms for existing Season Card holders and other interested supporters will be landing on your doormats over the next couple of days.
